About Us

Stefan Stofka started out on his own in late 1967 after working with Gleeson Landscapes for approximately ten years. Stefan concentrated mostly on high quality stone work and his stone “book” walls are still to be seen throughout the north shore now.

Peter Stofka, his son, after studying at Hawkesbury Agricultural College and then working in the business took over in 1985.

During the last thirty years most of our projects were the stunning designs of Landscape Designer Gordon Sykes. Since his retirement we have been involved with the classical designs of Ann Thompson from Garden Design service. We are also now privileged to be doing the modern and inspirational designs of Landscape Architect Anthea Dunlop.

Some of our known projects include the construction works of WINDYRIDGE the open garden owned by the Davidson’s in Mt Wilson, Also on the mountain we completed the acclaimed private gardens of the Ryan family. At least three or four of our projects are in the well known “open” gardens on the North Shore.

We have always been a small “hands on” company usually with a team from four to five. We believe we are the best in detailed construction on residential projects. We are recognised for our high quality trades work especially our detailed brick and stonework.

In the future we hope to build gardens for clients that are fussy and understand attention to detail.
